So I had a pretty exciting weekend. It was my birthday weekend and it was FULL of SURPRISES. First off I was supposed to do Escape Atlanta with by best gal pal, but when I arrived she had rounded up all my friends for a surprise birthday celebration. We missed getting out of the room by a few seconds we had all the clues, I just didn't know there was a fifth combination to the lock so my bad.
I had wanted to have a birthday dinner that night with a few more of my friends, but my hubby said he had plans for us so to move it to Sunday, by actual birthday. So after that fun adventure, I rushed home changed my clothes and jumped in the car with him. The next stop was a photo shoot, which was super awesome, the guy took some awesome shots and my husband brought along a cute chalkboard sign for me to write on.
After that, he said we were headed to dinner, but I knew something was up when he blindfolded me. I was not ready for the surprise I received when he removed the blindfold and I was in a room with all of my closest friends for another surprise party. I could not believe he pulled it off and it was a great night.
When we got back to the car to leave the restaurant I noticed my weekender bag in the backseat, he had another surprise for me. An overnight getaway at Chateau Elan a very nice winery and spa located outside Atlanta that we had stayed at years ago. When we checked in the gave me a card and voucher for a massage the next morning.
I can say without a doubt that this was the best birthday I have ever had and I'm so proud of my husband for putting it all together.
